-Objective:

For teams to successfully carry a pail of balls and deposit them into a smaller pail.

-Fundamental Movement Skills:

-Equipment List:

  • One small and one large pail

  • 6-10 straps

  • 10 small plastic balls

-Equipment Link:

-Setting Up:

  • Place a small empty pail at one spot.

  • Place the larger pail with the small balls and with the support straps about 10 paces away from the small pail.

  • Teams of 6-10 players hold the ends of the straps

-Instructions:

  • On the leader’s signal to begin players pull on the straps to lift the larger pail.

  • Players then carry the pail to the small pail.

  • When they reach the small pail, they need to determine how they can dump the balls from the larger pail to the smaller pail (this is done by the people from one side stepping over the straps to the other side and carefully pulling the pail over).
