-Objective:

Heading 1

To make 15 passes as quickly as possible

-Fundamental Movement Skills:

  • Locomotor

    • Run​

  • Manipulative Send​

    • Throw​

-Equipment List:

  • One stability ball per team of three players

  • Two cones per team

-Equipment Link:

-Setting Up:

  • Position two cones 4 to 5 yards or meters apart.

  • One player stands to the left of one cone.

  • The other two players stand one behind the other to the right of the opposite cone facing the single player. The player in the front holds the ball.

-Instructions:

  • On your signal to begin, the player with the ball bounces the ball to the player facing her.

  • Once the first player has passed the ball, she runs around the cone beside the player receiving the pass and then gets ready to receive a pass.

  • The player who received the pass catches the ball and bounces it to the player opposite her, and then follows the pass by running around the cone beside the player receiving the pass and gets ready to receive a pass.

  • Encourage players to call out the number for each pass received.

  • Once all players have received 15 passes, they repeatedly sing the line, “We are the champions!”

Have players use specific types of passes, kicks, or rolls to get the ball to the opposite player.
