Bounce Then Over Net
To score a point by bouncing ball on your side and landing on the floor on your opponent's side.
-Fundamental Movement Skills:
One bouncy ball
One net (two people hole a rope, a gymnastic mat on end...)
Set up a court divided by a net (gymnastic mat standing on end, two other players holding a net...)
Each player stands in their court on either side of net.
One player holds a ball.
When players are ready the player with the ball throws the ball so that it bounces on their side and then over the net and into their opponent's court.
The opponent catches the ball before in lands in their court. That player then throws the ball so that it bounces on their side and then over the net and into their opponent's court.
If the ball goes out-of-bounds or is not caught or is not bounced over the net, a point is scored for the non-offending player. That player then begins play anew.
-Questions & Notes:
Use paddles to bat ball instead of throwing it.
Players do not catch the ball but hit the ball on their side before it goes over the net.
