Number Sequence Relay
To be the first team to get numbers in correct order.
-Fundamental Movement Skills:
Numbered spots or numbered toppletubes
Place numbered spots out of order (the same for all teams) at one end of playing area.
Place a starting line 10-15 paces away.
Teams of three players stand behind the starting line.
On the leader's signal to begin the first player runs to the numbered spot and moves one spot to the right, left, up, or down (no diagonal moves).
Once the first player has made their move the second player runs to do the same.
Teams try to get the spots in order as quickly as possible 1 2 3 on first row and 4 5 on the next row.
-Questions & Notes:
Use numbered toppletubes or plastic cups instead.
Add more numbered items to make it more challenging.
Questions for Understanding:
How can players help each other?
How does it feel when your move was helpful? Unhelpful? How do we help our teammates as they celebrate success or are frustrated by their bad move?
