To answer a math problem quicker than your opponent and have your opponent go for a run.
-Fundamental Movement Skills:
A deck of cards
Each player is given one card.
Players line up on either side of the playing area.
Players partner up behind a start line on each end.
Partners face each other and hold their cards face down in front of them.
One partner says, ready, the other responds with set, and the other responds with select. The players simultaneously flip the card face up.
Players switch cards.
The first player who adds up (or could do multiplication, or subtraction with a positive number, or subtraction with a negative number) stays. The other player runs to the opposite side of the playing area and challenges a new partner.
-Questions & Notes:
This game could also be played with three or more players (probably best to make face cards all worth ten—though keeping them as Jack = 11, Queen = 12, and King = 13 makes it very challenging).
