-Setting Up:

  • In a gymnasium. The 3-point basketball arch is the crease (or the basketball key), and no-one from either time is permitted to be in this area—if a ball gets stuck in this area, the referee will throw the ball into the playing area.

  • Put 2 pylons where the basketball key and the basketball end line intersect—this is the goal. Divide the players into 2 teams. Have players get on their scooters, holding a noodle as a stick, and told to distribute themselves in the playing area.

-Instructions:

  • Explain to the players that the purpose of this game is to hit a ball with the foam noodles into the goal.

  • Play begins with the referee tossing the balls into the middle of the gym.

  • After a goal, the referee tosses the ball into the middle of the gym and play continues.

  • If players move the ball with with their hands or feet or with the foam when off their scooter, the referee picks up the ball and gives it to a nearby player from the other team.
