-Objective:

Heading 1

Doing a series of squats, while holding a medicine ball, the length of a ladder.

-Fundamental Movement Skills:

  • Non-locomotor

    • Squat

-Equipment List:

  • One Agility Ladder

  • One Medicine Ball

-Setting Up:

  • Player stands sideways in first two rungs with each foot in a different rung.

  • Player holds a medicine ball.

-Instructions:

  • When ready, the player does a squat.

  • After the squat the player turns 180 degrees, places the foot from the first rung into the third rung and is then facing the opposite way.

  • The player does a squat and another 180 degree turn... till the end of the ladder.
