Reaction Ball Double Bounce then Onto Pylon

-Objective:

Be the quickest to catch a double-bounced reaction ball and place it on a cone/pylon

-Fundamental Movement Skills:

  • Manipulative Receive

  • Catch

-Equipment List:

  • One reaction ball per player.

  • One pylon per pair of players

-Setting Up:

  • Pairs of players each hold a reaction ball and stand on opposite sides of a pylon.

-Instructions:

  • When the players are ready the each drop their reaction ball.

  • After the ball bounces twice each player catches their ball and places it on the pylon.

  • If the ball is not caught players can try again till one of them successfully catches the ball after two bounces.

-Questions & Notes:

  • Since a reaction ball bounces in different directions, what arethe keys to successfully cathing it following two bounces
