To have the highest score, based on the most balls in the net pockets

-Fundamental Movement Skills:

  • Manipulative Send

    • Throw

-Equipment List:

  • 1 nylon divider (7'H x 20'W) that attaches to your existing standards

  • 36 Rainbow® balls (7" dia)

-Setting Up:

  • Set up the net on standards spanning a badminton court.

  • Divide players into two teams, and each team stands at the end of the badminton court.

  • Give each team half (18) of the balls.

-Instructions:

  • On the leader's signal to begin, players throw balls into the pockets of the net.

  • Play for a predetermined amount of time.

  • Count the points by adding the scores of the various pockets and number of balls in each pocket.

  • Play again

-Questions & Notes:

  • Instructional Tip:

    • If the back of the badminton court is too easy, then move the players back, if the back is too difficult allow the players to move up.​

  • Variation:​

    • Bounce Knockout​

      • All balls must be bounced off the floor into the pockets.​
