-Setting Up:

  • One player leans against a ball that is between him and the wall. This player sits with his feet on the floor and knees bent at a 90-degree angle to the floor. Tell players to keep their knees behind their feet.

  • The other player sits on a stability ball opposite the first player approximately 3 to 4 yards or meters away. This player holds another stability ball.

-Instructions:

  • On your signal to begin, players begin passing the ball back and forth to each other using one bounce and counting each catch.

  • Pairs try to get as many catches as they can in the set amount of time.

  • Players switch positions roles and try again

-Questions & Notes:

  • Distant Seated Bounces: Played the same as Seated Bounces except that players are farther apart and use a larger ball. You could also make two bounces mandatory for each throw.

  • No-Bounce Seats: Played the same as Seated Bounces except that players cannot let the ball hit the floor.
