-Setting Up:
Set up a start line about five paces from either side of the checker board--make it further away if you want to have the players run more.
Place the different coloured spots on the dark squares of the first three rows of each side.
Each player (or team of 3 players) stands at their start line.
-Instructions:
At the signal to begin the first player from each team moves one of their spots forward and diagonal--checker pieces can only play forward and diagonal.
If there is an empty spot behind your opponent's spot a player can jump over that spot (and in one play can jump more with that one piece if that is possible) and remove it (them) from the playing surface.
When a player reaches the first row of their opponent's side, flip the piece over to be a King which can move the same as other pieces but can move forward to backward.
Play till your opponent has no more pieces.
