One player holds the ball
-Instructions:
-
On your signal to begin, the player with the ball throws it to the other player and then runs to the open cone.
-
The player who receives the ball throws it to the other player, who should be at the new cone. The player who threw the ball then runs to the new open cone.
-
Passes continue until the first passer has returned to the starting cone a fourth time.
-
The first pair to finish is the winner.
-Questions & Notes:
-
Increase the activity of this game by increasing the laps required, the distance between the cones, or both.
-
Decrease the activity of this game by having four players per triangle with two players at one cone. The ball begins where there are two players at a cone. The player who throws the ball follows the ball to the cone he threw it at and replaces the player who caught and threw the ball to the next cone.
-
Have players use different throws or rolls to pass the ball.
