-Setting Up:

  • Set up a circle at least 10 paces in diameter (smaller if this is too difficult for the players and larger if this is too easy for the players).

  • Place the goal in the middle of the circle.

  • Players begin lined up on their own half with one team having the first kick outside the crease and to the side of the goal

-Instructions:

  • After kickoff outside the crease and at the side of the goals, players use moves from four sports to advance the ball while outside the key.

  • Players need to keep the ball moving without holding or trapping it.

  • Defenders will run in front of the flying or rolling ball and try to block it from advancing. Each team has a goalie guarding its side of the goal.

  • When the ball is inside the key, only goalies are allowing to touch it. If another player touches it in the key, the other team gets a penalty kick.

  • The team that scores the most points by passing the ball through its side of the goal wins! Add in a challenging variation by eliminating the goalies. T

  • Leaders can also call out sport-specific skills a student can use to advance the ball. For example, if using basketball moves, players can only dribble or throw the ball.
